  • Condition regularly: Every 1-2 months (or when the wood starts to feel dry), apply food-grade mineral oil or a cutting board conditioner. I recommend Walrus Oil cutting board oil.

  • Rejuvenate if needed: If you notice surface wear, you can lightly sand with fine grit sandpaper and re-oil to restore the finish.

Things to Note

  • Because it’s end-grain, this board is especially kind to knives — but you’ll want to redo the oiling if it becomes dry.
